CID has won hearts ever since it began. The show has been getting an amazing response from the audience. It is the most loved TV serial. It began in 1998 and had a successful run till 2018. However, when the show went off-air in 2018, the audience was shocked and hurt. People never wanted their favourite show to end ever. Shivaji Satam, Hrishikesh Pandey, Dayanand Shetty, Janvi Chheda, Shraddha Musale, Aditya Srivastava, Narendra Gupta and others made us all love CID. The characters from the show are iconic and special for all the fans.
Each dialogue from the show has been loved. Seeing this love of the audience, the makers brought back the second season in 2024. Even today, the love for this show is the same. People are enjoying the new season and the new stories. We have our iconic characters back. This season has been full of twists and turns. We saw that Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman was shown dead because of Barboza.
The entire team got separated and we saw Parth Samthaan entering as ACP Ayushmaan. With his entry, we saw him claiming that there is a 'Gaddar' in the team who helped Barboza. In the last two episodes, we saw so many twists. ACP Pradyuman was found back by his and the entire story was revealed about Barboza. We also saw Barboza's plan failing but he was not caught.
ACP Pradyuman reunited with his team and even thanked Ayushmaan for handling the team well till he was away. Inspector Shreya returned to the show and we saw an emotional reunion with Daya. Soon, Ayushmaan asked ACP Pradyuman who was the 'Gaddar' of the team.
He then revealed that it was Dr. Salunkhe who was the traitor. He also confessed ditching the CID team because they always took away the credits of solving the case from him. Dr. Salunkhe was then put in the jail and with this, Narendra Gupta's journey in the show ended. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
However, fans are not happy with this storyline for Dr. Salunkhe, who has been an important part of the show. They are unhappy with the silly reason given for Dr. Salunkhe's betrayal. Now, we will see Shraddha Musale aka Dr. Tarika returning to the show. It seems she will now take up Dr. Salunkhe's duties in the show.
