Parth Samthaan recently bid adieu to CID 2. The actor had joined the cast as ACP Ayushmaan. He had sort of replaced Shivaji Satam who played the role of ACP Pradyuman. The storyline showed ACP Pradyuman dying in CID 2 and his position is taken over by young Ayushmaan. However, with a twist in tale, ACP Pradyuman returned and Parth Samthaan aka ACP Ayushmaan marked his exit. Even though he was a part of CID 2 for a short while, he managed to get noticed. Fans loved him as a tough ACP Ayushmaan. In a recent interview, Parth spoke about fans' reaction and more.
In an interview with entertainment news portal Zoom, Parth Samthaan spoke about the chill environment on the sets of CID 2. He called the team 'mature' and 'positive'. He also stated that he is lucky that he got an opportunity to work with CID team as they showed great unity. Further, Parth Samthaan was also asked about fans' reaction to his character ACP Ayushmaan. The actor shared that fans appreciated and liked his character, to a degree where some of them even considered him to be a genuine ACP. He recalled a message that he received from a fan who asked him for help in solving his mother's murder case. Parth was quoted saying, "I receive positive feedback from people. The audience takes the show very seriously. I received a DM from a fan requesting me to solve his mother's murder case. He asked for my contact number, as he felt I was his last hope." The actor even revealed that some of the fans reached out to him asking for the contact information of female cops in the show.

Post his exit from the show, Parth Samthaan also took to his social media account to share some BTS videos from the sets. On his last day, the team got him a cake to mark his farewell. He also posted pictures with Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Shivaji Satam and others. He said that he got to learn a lot from the team.
