Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is one of the most popular television shows. The show has managed to win hearts across the globe and was a hit among viewers. The show starred Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as Ishita Bhalla and Raman Bhalla. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the show was one of the most loved dramas and continues to have a strong fan following. The fans were waiting for the show to have a sequel. Now, the show is all set to return to television. Due to popular demand, the makers have officially announced that the show will return to screens on April 9. The makers captioned the video as, “Ishita ki Maa banne ki tamanna adhoori hai, wahi dusri ore Roohi ke liye Maa dhoond raha hai Raman. The channel has released a special promo that gives fans a chance to recall the journey of Ishita and Raman. The promo video showcases their emotional story along with the show's return date. In the promo video, Ishita’s mother is seen searching for a suitable match for her daughter, but Ishita hesitates to marry. On the other hand, Raman’s family wants him to remarry, but he has one condition for his future wife. Ishita and Raman’s paths begin to intertwine due to his daughter Ruhi.

Divyanka spoke to India Forums and said, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has an evergreen charm. I'm happy that the new generation will now get a chance to watch the show we created with so much love and passion."

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein started airing from December 3, 2013, to December 18, 2019. Within no time, the show becanme a top-rated TV shows. The audienecs appreciated the storyline and characters. The show featured Ruhanika Dhawan, Aditi Bhatia, Anita Hassanandani, Mihika Verma, Aly Goni and Krishna Mukherjee, among others in significant roles.

On the work front, Divyanka was last seen in the web series The Magic of Shiri along with Namit Daas and Jaaved Jaaferi. Karan was last seen in Darran Chhoo, which was released in 2023.

Last night, Karan Patel, who played the role of Raman in the show shared in a podcast that he has not got any acting offers in the past six years. He was one of the highest-paid actors on Indian television and became a household name.
