Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular and longest-running sitcoms on TV. The show has grabbed viewers' attention with its unique storyline and plot. The cast of the show has now become a household name. They even share an amazing bond off-screen.
Well, some media reports claimed all is not well between co-stars Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, and his on-screen son Tapu, played by Raj Anadkat. Within no time, this news spread like wildfire, and fans were shocked.
According to the reports, Raj kept Dilip waiting for an hour on repeated instances, while the latter who is one of the most senior actors always reported on time.
But recently, Dilip quashed these baseless rumors and called them false stories'. In an interview with a news portal, he said, 'Absolutely rubbish. Who cooks up all these false stories?'.
The show has always been in news for some or othe reason. Recently, television actor Munmun Dutta aka Babita Iyer caught attention for allegedly using a casteist slur in a video that left netizens angry. The actress apologized for using the term which she was said. Her apology, issued on Twitter, reads: "This is in reference to a video that I posted yesterday where in one word used by me has been misinterpreted. It was never said with the intent of insult, intimidate, humiliate or hurt anyone`s feelings. Because of my language barrier, I was genuinely misinformed about the meaning of the word. Once I was made aware of its meaning, I immediately took the part down. I have utmost respect for every single person from every caste, creed or gender and acknowledge their immense contribution to our society or nation".
