It is just us or even you feel like Indian Idol 12 has been grabbing the headlines for the controversies and the statements around the same more than the talents and the music on the show? The most recent and most talked about controversy is about Amit Kumar's statements post the show, wherein the son of legendary singer Kishore Kumar had said that he did not enjoy the show at all. Aditya Narayan had commented on the statements saying that it was a celebration of the legendary singer and that nobody was comparing themselves with the maestro. Aditya Narayan has been hosting the show for quite some time now and during the interviews, he has been asked a lot of questions about the same. A couple of days ago, Udit Narayan had also reacted to Aditya's statements and had called his son a little immature and childish. He had said that since his son has been associated with the show for a long time and hence has grown attached to it. Now, Aditya Narayan has reacted to his father's statement.
Reacting to Udit Narayan's comment, Aditya told Spotboye, "I am in this world because of my parents. The matter ends there. Har maa-baap ki nazar mein unka beta hamesha bachcha hi hota hai. (For parents, their kid would always remain a kid). I am honest to my work and will continue to be so. Not everyone has to agree with my view. And that's okay."
Aditya also said that he is very disappointed with the fact that the makers of Indian Idol 12 are not getting enough credit and appreciation for their hard work. He said that the whole team and he are trying to entertain everyone amidst the pandemic. He added, "I have a house to run and bills to pay. Setting my worries aside I work hard every day to bring a smile on the faces of the audience during these stressful times."
For those not in the know, when asked about Aditya’s statements, Udit Narayan had said, "Aditya is not mature yet. He is childish and emotional. He has been on the show (Indian Idol) for some time and has got attached to it. That is why he got too sensitive. If you see, no one from the platform spoke (about the controversy) and the entire burden came upon Aditya."
