TV doyenne Ekta Kapoor is all set to launch another exciting series, which will be a bi-weekly programme. After Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya, the busy producer is currently orchestrating a new series for Zee TV. Tentatively titled Haivan, the show belongs to sci-fi genre. While Param Singh has been locked to play the male lead, the hunt for the female lead is on. Actress Riddhima Pandit is currently in talks for the series. Furthermore, BollywoodLife has heard that yet another actress has been locked for the show, not as the female lead but as the antagonist.
Gayatri Iyer, who is a prominent name down South, has apparently been locked to play the antagonist in Haivan. "Ekta Kapoor's close friend Anita Hassanandani was supposed to play the character. However, the makers didn't wish to repeat the actress after she featured in two shows back to back (Naagin 3 and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein)," a source close to the development revealed. Gayatri, who marked her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn’s massive Raid (2018), will mark her Hindi TV debut with this show. "She has been signed," a reliable source confirmed.

Talking about the plot, our sources revealed that the series will be based on a scientist, played by Param Singh. His experiment goes wrong and turns him into a superhero. Despite repeated attempts, Gayatri remained unavailable for comment.
After Naagin, Kawach, and Brahamrakshas, Haivan is yet another presentation by Ekta Kapoor in the supernatural genre.
