MTV Ace Of Space recently witnessed the eviction of one of the strongest contestants on the show - Akanksha Sharma. The lady, who rose to fame post her participation in the controversial reality series Bigg Boss 10, entered the youth-based show with her boyfriend, Abhiraj Chadha. BollywoodLife spoke to her after she was evicted. Ask her how her journey on the show was and she says, "My journey was pretty amazing I think I’ve received a response from my audience and I’m loving the amount of love that’s been pouring in." Sharma has been part of another confined house, which is more controversial in nature, and she was the only contestant who had such an experience. She feels Bigg Boss is much easier than her recent one. "Ace Of Space is definitely more difficult, there is absolutely no connection with the outside world and just being in rooms 24 x 7 with the same people constantly, no time to be by yourself to recharge your energies. We had to sleep on floors, the alarms were outrageous. Bigg Boss is a cakewalk in comparison," she explains. Nevertheless, the reality starlet doesn't take away from the fact that Bigg Boss stint helped her stay in this show longer. "Definitely, I understood the concept of storylines vs reality TV. After all, you’re just seeing an hour's worth of edited footage from a whole 24 hours. I felt Bigg boss hadn’t given me space to soar but Ace Of Space did give me a lot more time as a person," she confides. An interesting point to note is that one of the primary reasons that the show became a hot topic of discussion was because of the mudslinging exes. It was mandatory to know about her opinion on Divya slamming her ex-boyfriend, Priyank Sharma, on national TV. "I think she needed to vent because she didn’t get a chance to speak her story out and this was a good closure, we all deserve closure especially when it’s a public affair! I’ve been through one, 10 times worse," she laughs off and further added, "I think they have a lot more to offer but then again they (show makers) highlight what they find juicy in a footage period of 24 hours. It’s more like Archie, Betty, Veronica and the gang, a better name for the show." Akanksha also speaks about her show host Vikas Gupta, "He’s a sweetheart and since we never had a discord, I felt he was absolutely chilling. He took a stand and addressed the issues that needed addressing. Overall a good person."
Post her eviction, Akanksha is looking forward to side along with vlog and concludes, "TV is the new radio in my eyes. The net is the future."
