Game of Thrones season 8 Episode 5 has just concluded and it wouldn't be wrong to say it was the craziest and most gruesome episode of the season. Daenerys Targaryen pulled a Dracarys on the entire King's Landing burning down innocent lives to ashes all in the grief over the loss of Missandei and the fear of losing the Iron Throne. She felt betrayed by Jon Snow as he let his truth out to Sansa Stark and Arya Stark, Sansa in turn spoke to Tyrion Lannister about it, who discussed his concerns regarding the true heir of the Iron Throne with Varys. Varys was sentenced to death for treason as he tried to persuade Jon Snow to take over the throne. The last episode ended with Daenerys bringing about a firestorm with her dragon on the whole of King's Landing to kill Cersei, and she succeeded in doing so. In the process, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister and
Arya Stark saw the tyrant in her and it somehow reminded us of the Mad King and his unreasonable ways of ruling his kingdom. This could certainly mean the three will be teaming up together to take Dany down and spare the seven kingdoms of her wrath.
In the trailer of the final ever episode of
Game of Thrones that released, Daenerys Targaryen walking towards her army of the Unsullied and the Dothrakis. The final episode of Game of Thrones will air on May 20 and will be 80 minutes long. Series creators David Benioff and DB Weiss have written and directed the final installment, making it the only episode of the show’s final season they stepped behind the camera for. Both Benioff and Weiss had told Entertainment Weekly earlier that it would be impossible to please every fan with the show's ending, which is one reason they won't be online when the last 80 minutes will be aired.
