Hina Khan is on a roll, it seems! The television actress won hearts for her character, Komolika, in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. And now she is ready to set the big screen on fire with her acting chops. Two months ago, during a live chat session with her fans, Hina had mentioned taking a break post-April due to her film commitments. And looks like, the diva of television is indeed busy juggling between her multiple projects.
The actress has three Bollywood films. Out of which, the first look of Lines, directed by Hussain Khan, will be unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival 2019. Hina couldn't make it to this festival in the last few years as she was too busy doing work.
Now that she is all set to walk the red carpet of Cannes film festival 2019, Hina's happiness knows no bounds. Speaking about her excitement to present her debut B-town movie over there, an elated Hina told Bombay Times, "Given my busy schedule over the past few years, I could never make it to any film festival, even as a cinema lover. Now, I feel that nothing can be better than going with my film and presenting it for the first time at the festival. I hope to continue visiting Cannes with my projects because it is a platform that can fetch you international attention."
Moving on from her appearance at the international film festival, the actress also shed light on her film, Lines. "It has a simple, heartwarming and hard-hitting story. It aims to communicate that most of us are fighting someone else’s battle without any reason, while our own families are left to suffer the consequences. Nazia’s (her character) life is every girl’s story," said Hina who plays the role of an independent young woman in Kashmir.
Apart from Lines, Hina has Vikram Bhatt's untitled film in her kitty. The actress considers herself lucky to be a part of that project. "Vikram is a wonderful narrator and a person. We had a long chat about the film and we were clear about what to expect. I love the concept of the film and even heard some of the music, which is mind-blowing. And he is excited and keen about having me on board, which boosts my morale. I feel lucky to have got this film," she had told Hindustan Times.
This is just the beginning for the actress. We feel Hina has a long way ahead, what do you think?
