Former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is making a lot of noise with his participation in reality shows. Today, the cricketer is awaiting the judgement on the life ban given to him by the BCCI. Sreesanth has had quite a few controversies in his career and one of the most infamous ones is the slap-gate incident of Indian Premier League. In 2018, in a heated moment, Harbhajan Singh who was playing for Mumbai Indians slapped S Sreesanth who was playing for Kings XI Punjab. In an interview to Behindwoods Air, the off-spinner said that it is one mistake of his life that he would like to rectify if he could go back in time.
He said, "Whatever happened with Sreesanth.. me and him on the field.. lot of people talk about that incident now. If I have to go back and rectify something in my life, I would correct that. I shouldn't have done that." He further went on to say, "That was a mistake and I am sorry about that. It shouldn't have happened. Sreesanth is a top guy and he had so much of skill. My best wishes to Sreesanth and his wife and to their children. No matter what people say, I am still your brother."
Sreesanth is riding high on a wave of popularity after his stint on TV. He has made it evident on various interviews that he wants to make a comeback on the sporting field. We hope the two former friends reach out to each other and bury all differences. Stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates!
