Sumbul Touqueer, Gashmeer Mahajani and Mayuri Deshmukh starrer Imlie is winning hearts. The show began last year and has been amongst the top five TV series since the start. The show is about Imlie, a smart village belle, who is forced to marry a journalist after they seek shelter in a hut during heavy rains. On reaching the city, she realises that her husband is engaged to be married. Now, we will see a new entry in the show. Chandni Bhagwanani, last seen in Surbhi Chandna's Sanjivani 2 will be back on TV after a year. She will be entering Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani's romantic drama. She will be the love interest of Nishant, who plays lead actor Gashmeer Mahajani's cousin in the show.
Arham Abbasi plays the role of Nishant in the show. As per the latest story, Imlie finds out that Nishant is unwell, and soon Pallavi will also get to know about his illness. In the past, Pallavi and Nishant had grown apart due to personal differences. Imlie will be seen trying her best to resolve the conflict between Pallavi and Nishant. In an interview with ETimes, Chandni Bhagwanani opens up about her character in the show. She said that she is playing the role of Nishant's girlfriend, Pallavi who is a happy-go-lucky girl and is now back in Nishant's life. Pallavi will be respectful towards Nishant's family members and get along well with them. Chandni reveals she had moved to Hyderabad a couple of months ago after bagging two South films and even the team of Imlie had moved to Hyderabad. She said that she is glad that she bagged the role of Pallavi in Imlie because they are shooting in Hyderabad and she can easily shoot here.
Chandni said that she is extra cautious about shooting amid the pandemic and has done a COVID-19 test. As soon as the reports come negative, she will begin shooting for Imlie.
