The tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has become a political slug-fest of sorts. Leaders from various parties have taken opportunities to take potshots at each other in the name of investigation. In what can be described as a below the belt remark, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that the late actor's relation with his father, KK Singh was a strained one. He said the relation soured after his father, KK Singh married twice. He highlighted how he did not visit Patna often. His statements were not in good taste. Kamya Punjabi tweeted, "Kamaal ki baat karte hai log! Pita ne dusri shadi ki..So?Khush rehne ka haq sabko hai (kaunse pichde hue zamane ki soch lekar ghum rahe ho) Beta na khush tha..well hum nahi maante aur chalo maan bhi liya So? So?Again wat are they trying 2 prove? #justiceforsushant #WarriorsForSSR"
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut also raised questions on his relationship with Ankita Lokhande. After his statements went viral, the late actor's cousin Neeraj Singh Babloo said that it is false and fabricated story. He said it was his elder uncle, Sriram Kishore Singh who had married twice and not KK Singh. The news was also dismissed by relatives of late Usha Singh, the wife of KK Singh. Sushant Singh Rajput lost his mother at the age of 2002. Kamya Punjabi also remarried last year.
Now, the family has asked Sanjay Raut to tender an apology to the family. The actor was found hanging at his residence on June 14, 2020. Various sting operations conducted by channels have revealed hitherto unknown facets of the case. Fans all over the world are asking for a CBI Enquiry in the matter. It seems Sushant Singh Rajput was undergoing treatment for bipolar disorder. This was revealed by psychotherapist Susan Walker to journalist Barkha Dutt. The case is unfolding fast and everyday we hear of new things!
