While the nation is obsessing over the Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas weddings, telly stars too are getting married. If you have been MIA, Kapil Sharma and his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath are tying the knot on December 12 and fans of the comedian are thrilled. He has arrived in Amritsar, Punjab for the nuptials, which will start with a Mata Ki Chowki at his sister's residence. Having said that, while the functions in Kapil's home will start from December 6, it has already begun at the girl's home. Ginni's family held an Akhand Path Bhog at their residence. The bride dressed in a purple outfit with gold embellishments looked absolutely lovely. It was followed by a Chooda ceremony where Ginni rocked a traditional red sharara.
In fact, the venue was all decked up for the mehendi ceremony and if pictures are anything to go by, it was a gala. Kapil's mother and relatives can be seen in high spirit while applying henna and we can only imagine the bride's joy. Check out the pictures here.
