Today's episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India involved all six contestants with fear bands from yesterday's task competing with each other to determine who'd be free of their bands and who'd be the unlucky one to get eliminated. As expected, the three tasks presented by host Rohit Shetty, needed to determine such an important outcome, lived up to their billing, and, unfortunately, the one who couldn't escape their fear band and thus, get eliminated from the show was KaranPatel. So, in case you missed it, fret not because we've got all the latest updates right here. Read on...
The first stunt of the day entailed one partner cycling vigorously on a complex machine, which spurted out more fish the faster the machine was cycled on, while the second contestant, with a big plastic bag attached to their waist, had to try collecting as much fish she/he could sans crossing a demarcated line. First up were Jay Bhanushali and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, followed by Karan Patel and Bharti Singh, with the first from each pair on the cycle and the second, carrying the bag. Jay and Harsh managed to collect more fish, thus forgoing their fear bands and marking themselves safe.
It was then the to read some fan-mail, with the first letter coming in for Jasmin Bhasin. True to the request, she agreed to sing Khaike Pan Banaraswala for her fan, but host Rohit Shetty threw in a twist, making her walk on legos while singing, and that, too, hopping on one leg at a time, with failure to do so resulting in a small electric shock. Thankfully, it wasn't a task dependent on elimination, but just a fun segment.
The second stunt was a solo task, requiring a contestant to arrange playing cards in the best possible rummy sequence while seated in a tank as water kept steadily rising. The one to arrange more cards in a better sequence before the water submerged her/him or in lesser time would win the task. The first to attempt it was Nia Sharma, who completed it in 4 minutes and 26 seconds and then, it was Aly Goni's turn, who did it in 6 minuted and 5 seconds, thus placing Nia in the safe zone.
The final stunt, the elimination one, another solo task, had a contestant lying inside a rectangular chamber, with boughs of gas intermittently being released, making it difficult for them to breathe. The one to last for the least amount of time before quitting, would have to return home after the episode. The first to enter the chamber was Aly Goni, followed by Karan Patel and finally, Bharti Singh. While Aly lasted for all 2 minutes and 52 seconds, Karan managed 2 minutes and 44 seconds while Bharti survived the longest for 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
In other words, Karan Patel had to bid adieu after today's episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India.
