Popular TV actress, Surbhi Chandna, who is currently garnering love from the audience for her portrayal of Bani in Naagin 5, recently had a fun chat with her fans, when she went live on Instagram. During a conversation a fan said that Mouni was a better Naagin than her to which she politely agreed and won our hearts as she said, “There is never going to be another thought to that. Mouni Roy was an incredible Naagin and will always be. I totally agree with you that Mouni is better than me. I don’t think anyone else will ever be able to beat her in this.”

Surbhi and Sharad Malhotra's sizzling chemistry in the supernatural show has been one of the biggest USPs. When quizzed about his equation, the actress said, "I usually don't have any answer to such questions. However, a lot of credit goes to the writers who have beautifully written our characters. Then comes the director whose vision of portraying us onscreen makes it even more beautiful and then the credit goes to us (actors) who add a little bit of our experience and creativity. I and Sharad don't think much and just perform naturally and that's how it looks magical onscreen."
While Sharad took a break from the show after testing positive for COVID-19, he recently made a comeback and speaking about that, the actor told E Times, "Today, was my first day on the set after recovering from coronavirus. Everyone met me so warmly. The minute I heard Ranjanji’s voice aur unki energy dekhi 15 dinon ke baad, meri aankhein thodi nam si ho gayi (I became emotional on hearing Ranjanji's voice). Wohi shor gull, energy, positivity aur happiness maine bohot dinon ke baad dekhi. We have an amazing team and I have missed each and every one of them in these last 15 days. I have been through a personal setback in the form of COVID. However, when I came on the set today, I was filled with positive energy. It felt like homecoming. Even my co-actor, Surbhi Chandna, came up to me and told me that she was happy to have me back. I want to thank Ranjanji and the production team. I am glad that we are back to doing what we do best – entertaining our viewers."
