Last week we saw the entries of four wild card couples Vishal-Madhurima, Urvashi-Anuj, Avinash Sachdev-Palak Purswani, and Pooja Banerjee-Sandeep Sejwal. Just after their first performance in Nach Baliye 9, Pooja Banerjee and Sandeep Sejwal had to quit the show. Pooja Banerjee got injured while she was rehearsing for her performance. In an interview with Times Of India, Sandeep Sejwal spoke about Pooja's injury. He said, "In the act, Pooja had to stand on my shoulders and fall back, with our choreographer catching her. However, she slipped, lost her balance and fell in the front from above 10 feet from the ground. She landed on her hands. The impact was such that she hurt both her hands — the joint of her right wrist is fractured, while the left elbow bone is chipped. Pooja has also sprained a ligament in her left leg. She is in a cast and the doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside before they perform the surgery, which is scheduled to take place today. She will be hospitalized for at least a week." He added, "Since the show is about couples, I don’t think we will be able to continue. So, we are opting out." Pooja Banerjee's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 co-stars Parth Samthaan and Sahil Anand have taken to their respective Instagram accounts to wish their dear friend Pooja a speedy recovery. Parth Samthaan posted a picture of Pooja in the hospital and wrote, "You are strong woman, get well soon…speedy recovery. God bless you, see you jaldi." Sahil Anand posted a picture with Pooja Banerjee and captioned it, "Get Well soon @poojabanerjeee. U know u r the best, u did ur best and vl always in Future. Glad to have u as my Coactor but first of all found a very good Friend in u. Pooja Banerjee and Sandeep Sejwal had scored 80 percent for their first performance. Their exit will be a disappointment for fans as they wanted to see Pooja and Sandeep with some more spectacular performances. However, this is not the first time when a person has been injured this season. Earlier, Faisal Khan, Nityami Shirke, Shraddha Arya and Ridhima Jain too had met with such unfortunate incidents.
