Ram Kapoor and Gautami Gadgil Kapoor are by far the most adorable couple in the TV industry. They met on the sets of Ghar Ek Mandir and since then there's been no looking back for them. Ram and Gautami's pair is the perfect example of opposites attract and we are not talking about their physical appearances. Both Gautami and Ram were polar opposites by nature. Gautami has been a reserved person from the start and Ram was called a casanova. However, sparks flew between the two and they soon confessed their love for each other and took the plunge. Since then, they have been getting offers for various shows, one of which is Nach Baliye.
Gautami revealed in an interview with The Times of India that the couple was approached for the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye as many as four times. However, owing to Gautami's pregnancy, they couldn't take it up.
"I have had my pregnancies, both of them almost one after the other and there is not much of a gap in between both my kids. And now I guess the makers are fed up of calling us," said the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress. The new season of Nach Baliye was launched last Friday where various couples like Prince Narula-Yuvika Chaudhary, Vindu Dara Singh-Dina Umarova, Shraddha Arya-Alam Makkar, Anita Hassanandani-Rohit Reddy, Faisal Khan-Muskaan Kataria, Shantanu Maheshwari-Nityaami Shirke, Babita Phogat-Vivek Suhag, Saurabh Raj Jain-Ridhima Jain, Rochelle Rao-Keith Sequeira and ex-couples like Aly Goni-Natasha Stankovic, Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdev and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh were revealed as the participants.
Continuing Ram and Gautmi's love story, we would like to tell you how the proposal and wedding went about. Gautami and Ram would have proposed to their reel life partners in a romantic way but in real life, there was no candle-light dinner or a fancy proposal, in fact, the two were at a wild party one evening where Ram simply asked Gautami to get married which she readily accepted. That's that.
It was not all that easy for them as they had to convince their parents for this union, given the fact that Gautami is a Maharashtrian and Ram a Punjabi, the two had to face protest from their families but they managed to convince them. The duo had tied the knot according to Arya-Samaj rituals on the Valentines Day in 2003. Post-wedding, both continued working. They are blessed with two kids, a daughter - Sia and a son - Aks. The two were last seen in Shaadi Ke Side Effects in 2014.
