She also appeared in films such as Rajaji, Saawariya, and Sonali Cable. Nupur was born on November 25, 1972, in Jaipur, and moved to Mumbai with her family. She completed her schooling at a private school in Jaipur, and even ventured into modeling. Later, she appeared in several brand advertisements. Nupur made her debut on television and soon grabbed immense fame.
Nupur decided to follow a spiritual path and chose to become a monk. In September 2022, Nupur left everyone shocked as she announced her decision to leave the entertainment industry. She shared that she had retired from the entertainment industry in February 2022. During an interview with ETimes, Nupur expressed her gratitude for having a guru like Shambhu Sharan Jha, who helped her understand the deeper aspects of spirituality.
Nupur denied reports that suggested she was unhappy with her life, but later she clarified that she is content but chose to leave her glam lifestyle as she wanted to explore the path of spirituality. In 2002, Nupur married Alankar Srivastava and decided to retire with the consent of her husband and mother-in-law.
In an interview, Nupur revealed that she had separated from her husband, but did not take a legal route for the separation.
