The virus has come down heavily on TV town as well. So far, actors like Nikki Tamboli, Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Aniruddh Dave and others contracted COVID-19. The pandemic has affected shoots also in a big time. Producers have been forced to move their shows to different states to shoot episodes. Maharashtra is leading as far as number of cases are concerned.
The coronavirus pandemic has been rather severe in the second wave in India. The daily figures are over 3.5 lakhs and even the number of deaths are high. Delhi has been the worst-affected as many people died due to lack of beds, oxygen and ventilators. It also led to a fight between the Centre and Delhi Government.
