Just in a couple of minutes ago, we reported to you that TV and Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Bandra. It is very shocking indeed and we are not able to come to terms with this yet. It has shocked us beyond words. 2020 is just getting worse than ever. Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide is deeply saddening and his colleagues and friends from the industry are mourning his demise and wishing the actor could have reached out to them. On the saddest day, let's have a look at his TV journey...
Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of Preet in Ekta Kapoor's Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil. He played the younger brother to Harshad Chopda in the TV show. Despite not being the lead actor in the show, he was loved for his performance. He impressed everyone and especially Ekta with his performance that the TV Czarina cast him as the lead actor in her next project, Pavitra Rishta.
His role as Manav Deshmukh, a soft-spoken middle-class person who is an ideal, a brother and a husband. His portrayal of Manav won him several accolades. His fanbase grew ten folds with Pavitra Rishta. But did you know, after Ekta recommended Sushant's name to the channel, they were not convinced that he could play the lead of the show? Yes, but his dedication as an actor, his realistic performances won several hearts.
Sushant was a trained dancer and after Pavitra Rishta, he participated in TV shows like Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. His charming demeanor and his smile would instantly light up the surroundings and the TV screens. It's indeed devastating to see such a talented actor who not only made it big on TV but also in Bollywood, suffering from depression. In the end, it all comes to the mental health of the individual. We wish, Sushant didn't do this.
