Dipika Kakar and Avika Gor starrer Sasural Simar Ka had a massive fan following. The audience loved the show and a lot of memes were also made on it. Even today, some or the other scene from the show begins trending and we see social media full of memes regarding it. The show premiered in 2011 and ran for eight years. Now, the show is all set to return with a second season and guess what, it is Avinash Mukherjee who has been approached for the lead role. We have also seen Avinash Mukherjee opposite Avika Gor in Balika Vadu. He had impressed us playing the role of young Jagdish in the show. The actor is currently a part of Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Recently, in an interview, Avinash Mukherjee spoke about how Balika Vadhu had changed his life. He said, "I wouldn't have wished for a better acting school than Balika Vadhu, the experience which I have received has helped me immensely. I spent the first few years on sets researching and learning about acting in between shots and simultaneously and also started learning about camera, camera angle and the lenses which are used. What are wide camera lenses, what are tele lenses, then about scripts, characters, music, screenplay?" Apart from Avinash Mukherjee, as per reports in Spotboye, Akash Jagga who made his acting debut recently with Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan as leads will be playing the parrellel lead in the show. A source close to the show informed Spotboye about the same. The source said, "Akash Jagga has been roped in for the parallel lead on the show along with Avinash Mukherjee. The two will start shooting for the show soon." Well, it will be interesting to whether this is true or not.
