In the last week, we saw Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Cezanne Khan coming on board to play Harman in Rubina Dilaik's show, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The actor was roped in makers after Vivian Dsena refused to reprise his role in the new season. While we saw fans cheering for Cezanne, who is came back on the small screen after a long time, a certain compared him with Vivian. Actress Kamya Panjabi, who portrays the character of Harman's mother Preeto in the show reacted to this comparison, as she wrote on her Instagram post, "Harman preeto ki phir wahi nok jhok P.S: Its not fair to compare both the actors! We all know that both of them are brilliant actors and have done some amazing work in the past! The decision to come back to a show is not an easy one, lets all respect his call and please join me in welcoming the one who is here to take this journey ahead #shaktiastitvakeehsaaski mon to sat 8pm @colorstv."

Actress Jaswir Kaur, who also plays a pivotal part in the show, said, “Well said. You are a rock star @panjabikamya.” Fans shared their mixed reaction to this post and one of the user said that Cezanne Khan should have played the character of Harak Singh (currently portrayed by Sudesh Berry). Another user wrote, “I think Ma'am it’s not about comparison, audience is used to Vivian Sir as Harman...and it’s a big responsibility on the new person to pull off the character and win the audience...but yes I must say new Harman is doing a great job...I am liking the episodes...hope audience will accept him soon...”
Talking about stepping into the shoes of Harman, Cezanne said in a statement, “Harman's character is extremely interesting. He wears his heart on his sleeves and loves Saumya unconditionally. I am truly excited to be back on screen and to once again breathe life into it with my style. A lot is set to unfold with Harman's return and I hope the audience will support me in this new journey.”
