Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved comedy shows. The new episodes began recently and the show is doing quite well on the TRP charts. However, there are a few disappointing news for fans. Yes, as reported earlier, Gurucharan Singh who plays Roshan Singh Sodhi will be leaving the show soon and Shah Rukh Khan's Dil Toh Pagal Hai costar is being considered for the role. We are talking about Balwinder Singh Suri who played the role of one of Shah Rukh Khan’s friends in Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Now, as per reports in Spotboye, Balwinder has already replaced him and has begun shooting. A source close to the portal said, "Balwinder has already begun shooting on the sets from this week. The makers waited for Gurucharan Singh to come back and join the show but considering his father's health, the actor has decided to take a break from the show and be with him. Hence, they got Balwinder on board and started shooting with him for the future episodes."
This is not the first time Gurucharan has quit the show. In 2013, he had quit the show due to creative differences with the producer. A year later he was once again brought back. There are also reports that Neha Mehta who plays Anjali Taarak Mehta in the show will also quit the show. As per reports in Spotboye, a source has revealed that Neha has conveyed her decision to the makers and has not been reporting to the sets. And now, as per the latest development Neha has finally bid adieu to the show and will not be seen in the future episodes. Neha Mehta has been a part of the show for 12 years and fans are surely disappointed with this news. A source informed Spotboye, "Neha informed her decision to the makers in advance and they tried to hold her back and convince her to stay back. But the actress has some different plans for her career and hence she chose to say goodbye."
Recently, Rakesh Bedi joint the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Taarak's boss. He also revealed that he was offered the show 12 years ago.
