TRP week 28 teaser
Coronavirus pandemic had brought the whole world to a standstill. Shootings of films and television shows had been stalled due to the growing pandemic situation in the country. For about three months, everyone was at home and there were old TV shows that were being re-aired on television to keep entertaining the audience. However, since last week, your beloved TV shows are back and we know you couldn't be happier. So, let's get to know which shows fared how well on the TRP charts this week. We are soooo excited.

Swastik Productions' Mahabharat starring Shaheer Sheikh, Pooja Sharma, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Aham Sharma, Arav Chowdhary, Arpit Ranka, Praneet Bhat, Rohit Bhardwaj, Saurav Gurjar, Vin Rana, Lavanya Bhardwaj starrer has claimed the top spot in the list this week. Indians have been loving mythological shows and during the lockdown, various mythological TV shows were re-aired on television. The mytho-fever has been ruling hearts this time as well. With about 2.4 million impressions, Mahabharat tops the list.
Ever since Rajan Shahi and Directors Kut Productions have introduced Tina who is Naira's fake twin. The Goenka's are in dire need of money to run their business since the lockdown affected their business. They are on the verge of financial breakdown. They need money to save the Goenka house. Hence, Naira decides to fool Sita, the financer. However, in the recent episodes, we saw Sita coming to know about Naira's game. It had been an interesting watch for the audience. With 2.2 million impressions, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one the second spot.
Anupamaa is the newest entrant on the list. Rupali Ganguly who is popular for her portrayal of Monisha Sarabhai of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai has returned to television as Anupamaa after 7 years of hiatus. Anupamaa is a story of a woman who gives her everything but is never valued by her near and dear ones. With 2.1 million impressions, Anupamaa has grabbed the third spot on the list. Sudhanshu Pandey stars as Anupamaa's domineering husband in the show.
Barrister Babu is another new entrant on the list. It features Pravisht Mishra as Anirudh and Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni as Bondita in the show. Barrister Babu revolves around child bride Bondita Das who married Anirudh Roy Choudhary in her childhood and how Anirudh fights society for her education and helps make her a barrister. The show is one of the underdogs of the year and with 1.9 million viewership ratings, it has grabbed the fourth position on the list.
Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is now focusing on the story of Heer played by Jigyasa Singh and Virat played by Simba Nagpal. Virat hates eunuchs. Heer and Virat are batchmates who start on the wrong foot at first. They end up falling in love. Virat doesn't know the truth about Heer's identity. In the recent episodes, we saw Preeto revealing Heer's real identity to Virat. With 1.8 million impressions, Shakti has grabbed the fifth spot on the list.
