Pawandeep Rajan is emerged as one of the stars of Indian Idol 12. He is not only a good singer but a talented musician as well. From the harmonium to the mandolin, he can play a variety of instruments. But not many know that Pawandeep Rajan began his formal training rather late in life. He has won one reality show, The Voice India. At that time, he was 21. Pawandeep Rajan was then pursuing his graduation studies from the Kumaon University. When he went for the auditions of The Voice India he was hardly a trained singer. In fact, he felt like leaving the auditions and going home. It seems Pawandeep Rajan began working for the blind auditions. He was blessed to have Shaan and Mika Singh as his mentors. The former guided him nicely and he ended up with the trophy and cash prize.
He had revealed to The Times Of India in 2015 that he grew up playing musical instruments. He began with tabla when he was two and half year old. Pawandeep Rajan started singing somewhere around 2012. He grew up in Champawat in Uttarakhand where facilities to learn music weren't much. But he is blessed to be born into a family with a legacy of music. After mastering instruments like the tabla, dholak and keyboard, he turned his attention to music. Fans should know that he began his formal training only in 2015.
He had told The Times Of India, " I just started learning music two weeks before coming on The Voice India. Main abhi Sa lagaana hi seekh raha tha. But I have grown up with music. My dad is a folk singer and a teacher and I used to go with him for his shows." Indian Idol 12 is getting immense flak for promoting the fake love angle of Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal. Fans adore the two to bits!
