You've gotta admit, the internet is a funny place. And talent can be found anywhere. Making music is not easy. But making music out of dialogues? Well, that surely was a new high this week. In case you haven't guessed it yet, we are talking about the famous 'Rasode Mein Kaun Tha?' musical version by Yashraj Mukhate. The social-media user with a knack for creating funny music, outdid himself with a musical version of Rasode Mein Kaun Tha, featuring Kokilaben, Gopi Bahu and Raashi from Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Even celebs have joined the trend and have captioned their posts, asking or answering the infamous question. The video went viral on every social media platform and is still a top trend.
So, why not enjoy the funny rap song, yet again? We bet, you would have learned the lyrics verbatim along with the beats by now. Teehee. Toh phir, Rasode Mein Kaun Tha?
Rupal Patel who played the character of Kokilaben on Saath Nibhana Saathiya also reacted to the video and revealed that she spoke to Yashraj and even thanked him for making it. "My sister-in-law sent me a message about it. Later, my coactor, Rhea Sharma sent me the rap. My immediate reaction was surprise and shock. I was perplexed about how Yashraj got this clip since I never sang on the show. Later, I realised that it’s a rap and he has used my dialogues for it (laughs). I liked it so much that I asked a few friends for his number. I spoke to him and expressed my gratitude. I am humbled and grateful for Smriti (Irani) madam for liking it. I am not on any social media platforms as I don’t want to be distracted when I am working," Rupal told ETimes.
Rupal Patel is currently seen as Meenakshi Rajvansh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. The actress had labelled her screen characters as twins. “I would say that Kokila and Meenakshi are like twins. While Kokila was traditional and orthodox, Meenakshi is sophisticated and educated. However, both want the best for their families and feel that they are always right. I was completely bowled over by the character of Meenakshi and the way she has been written, when Rajan Sir offered me the role. She has a lot of depth. I had to prep a lot for the part. Given my theatre background, I try to understand the psychology and body language of the characters offered to me. Voice modulation plays an important role, too. When shooting, I don’t like to speak much on set. I am composed and focused. I like to concentrate on my performance and hone my craft,” she had said.
The ormer Gopi Bahu aka Gia Manek and Raashi aka Rucha Hasabnis had been amused on watching the video as well.
