These are indeed some difficult times that we all are living in. A lot of TV shows have been axed by various channels leaving actors, producers out of work. Just the other day, the maker of TV show Vidya said that the channel have pulled the plug on Meera Deosthale and Namish Taneja starrer social drama series. Bhojpuri superstar actor Vikrant Singh Rajpoot who played the character of Avatar Singh in the TV show Vidya says that he is happy that he got to play the role of Avatar Singh, MLA.
Vikrant said, "I had a great time shooting for the show. I want to thank my producer Mahesh Pandey and Colors for giving me this opportunity. I also had a great time bonding with my onscreen sister and actor Meera Deosthale and my co-actor Mansi Srivastava in the show. It was unfortunate that the show could not go on post the lockdown. I am a bit emotional over the ending of the show but it is understandable."
Vikrant further added that people loved his and Mansi's chemistry in the show and sent messages to him praising his work. "During the tenure of the show people enjoyed my chemistry with Mansi Srivastava and my work in the TV show. Viewers used to send me messages regularly on my work and how much they liked Avatar."
Well, since the show shut shop, Vikrant was asked about his future plans which the actor shared saying, "Post lockdown all my fans are hoping to me soon with some good projects. I am hoping the same too."
Meanwhile, his actress-wife, Monalisa's Nazar has been axed by the channel as well. She had been playing Mohana and Madhulika in the show. As per reports, shows like Beyhadh, Naagin 4, Patiala Babes and others have been canceled by the channel to cut costs.
