Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running show of television and the most loved among the audience, if TRP charts are proof enough. Rajan Shahi's show has never failed to impress the audience, even they disagree with the ongoing plot. If you are not in the know, fans are disappointed with Kartik and Naira's separation, so much that they even decided to completely boycott the show and bashed the writers for the disappointing storyline.
The new entry of Pankhuri Awasthy as Vedika in Kartik's life is not going down well with the fans. The actress received a lot of criticism for her role. But here's a respite for those who are too disheartened about Kartik and Naira's separation. The show's producer Rajan Shahi has brought some interesting news for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans.
In an interview with India Forums producer Rajan Shahi shared his opinion about the reaction of fans on the current track of the show. He said, "We understand that the fans are angry and we respect their feelings, but they must take care of the words they use for a person who is just playing a reel character. I am against this behaviour from fans. I understand the fans are attached to our show and don't want to see any third person coming in between Kartik and Naira. I want to clear one thing that no one will come in between your Kaira, but we just need some time."

Talking about Vedika's character he said, "This is a cameo of Pankhuri Awasthy and she is not here for a long time. Later on the things will get solved as the story progresses." This news will surely put a smile across the faces of the audience and will give them the hope that their favourite characters Kartik and Naira will soon re-unite. Isn't that a great news?
