Actress Samridhii Shukla, who plays the role of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has become a household name. Her on-screen chemistry with Rohit Purohit aka Armaan, holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. The actress has been impressing audiences with her portrayal of Abhira and manages to turn heads in style. During an interview with Pinkvilla, she spoke about her thoughts on Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Actress Samridhii Shukla said, 'Honestly, right now, I don't think so. I would be up for doing Khatron Ke Khiladi, but I really think that I am scared of too many things, and I will probably chicken out. I don't know, we will see about that.' She even said that for Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss, she is somebody who does not want to be somebody who people know everything about. She also said that she does not know if that is going to change in the coming time. She said that right now, that is what she feels, and maybe 5-10 years down the line, she may feel that she wants to be a part of it.

Samridhii Shukla said that she never wanted to become an actor because of all the stories that she had heard. She said that she was quite apprehensive, and her father saw how talented she was, and she used to voice, and he thought that she could prove her mettle in acting. She said that her father pushed her and told her that he is there with her. She said that he assured her that she can rely on him. She even said that she has never faced anything like that, but remembers a meeting with a coordinator of a South Korean movie. She said that she gone there with her mom as she was quite young and must have just turned an adult or something, quite a few years back. He told her, 'This is how it works in the South industry. Comprises and all, you have to do it.'
She said, 'I was like, that's not going to work, that's not what I am here for. It was for a Telugu movie. Of course, I was not up for it, so I dropped that.' She said that most of these things that people hear are from the Telugu industry because that's the most commercial part of the South industry. She also said that she don't know if it happens to everybody but she knows that they hinted that like that.
