Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is one of the most loved shows on television and fans have loved Abir and Mishti’s cute love story. In recent episodes, we saw that Meenakshi takes all the proofs from Mishti and successfully traps Mehul. Abir gets Mehul arrested and the Rajvanshs are happy to get Abir back. They all prepare for Abir and Mishti’s wedding. Even after Mishti had helped her, Meenakshi is not happy with Mishti being in Abir’s life. She decides to separate them. She takes Parul and Abir and reveals it to Abir that Kunal is Parul and Mehul’s son. She also blackmails Abir that she will throw Parul and Kunal out of the Rajvansh house if Abir gets married to Mishti. She asks him to cancel the marriage at any cost. Mishti and her family reach the Rajvansh house to fix the wedding date.
Abir insults Mishti and breaks the wedding. Mishti is hurt and cannot believe that Abir could do this to her. She decides to speak to Abir and meets him. Abir who is too hurt by this does not let Mishti know that he was forced to leave her. He once again insults Mishti's love and asks her to leave. Mishti is heartbroken and returns back while Vishambar decides to send her to London. The show then takes a three-month leap post which we see Kuhu is back at the Rajvansh house as Kunal's wife. Abir has completely changed and wears sunglasses to hide his tears. He still loves Mishti but has kept quiet for his brother Kunal. Mishti returns back from London and is a completely changed person now. She comes back for Rajshri and Vishambhar's wedding anniversary. Post the leap we see two new entries in the show of Neha who is Abir's friend and Nishant aka Nannu who is Jasmeet's son and is very close to Mishti.

Nishant had helped Mishti in London. Abir now works with Kunal and the two have developed an app and up for a meeting with Nishant. Abir meets Mishti there and is hurt as he feels Mishti is Nishant's girlfriend. In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Mishti confesses before the Lord that she is back to Rajkot to find out the truth behind Abir's rejection and Nishant will be helping her in this.
