On the eve of Roohi hitting theatres, BollywoodLife caught up with Janhvi Kapoor for an exclusive interview to inquire if there's even more pressure on star kids as opposed to those coming from outside the industry when it comes to a sophomore release, considering the hype they carry with their debut and how the audience might see their next film as the true litmus test

Janhvi Kapoor has just seen her second big-ticket theatrical release post Dhadak. She did have GHost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in-between, but there's a vast difference between big-screen and OTT releases. On the eve of Roohi hitting theatres, BollywoodLife caught up with the gorgeous gal (with her costars, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma, in tow) for an exclusive interview to inquire if there's even more pressure on star kids as opposed to those coming from outside the industry when it comes to a sophomore release, considering the hype they carry with their debut and how the audience might see their next film as the true litmus test. Opening up on the topic, Janhvi Kapoor said, “I think it's not easy for anyone, I don't think it's just because of my family background or anything. This is my first theatrical (release) since Dhadak. But, I think that I don't know if you could call it an accurate litmus test as the situation under which this film is releasing, it's not like everything in the world is (normal)...Having said that, I'm hopeful and I hope people like the work that I've done. Now, I can't predict anything, I've done what was in my hand, and put in all the hard work and effort and I'm hoping that's enough.” Watch the video above...
