Tanuj Virwani FINALLY lets the cat out of the bag on Inside Edge season 3; reveals the release date [Exclusive]

Inside Edge is, for all intents and purposes, one of the most widely watched and critically acclaimed web series to have emerged from the Indian digital space, making it a rare exception among the sludge of Indian web shows to have flooded the market in recent times and disappear without so much as a whimper. Now with lockdown and effect and the coronavirus pandemic leaving the immediate future of several films, TV shows and web series in jeopardy, we were curious to know about the plans for Inside Edge season 3, especially with the kind of response the first two seasons garnered.

Well, the perfect opportunity was handed to us when BollywoodLife recently got in touch for an Insta live chat with Tanuj Virwani, who plays Vayu Raghavan on the show. And imagine our delight when the actor exclusively revealed to us that not only is Inside Edge 3 definitely going to happen, but how far has the season progressed and when will it hit Amazon Prime. Confirming that we're indeed going to be getting an Inside Edge 3, how far the team has progressed on that front and when we could expect it to see its digital release, Tanuj Virwani said, "We got done shooting for Inside Edge season 3 before season 2 had even released. Can you believe it? The season should be out toward the end of 2020. We're done shooting it. I think I just broke the news to you (laughs). I spoke to our Director (Karan Anshuman) a few days before the lockdown started, he was right in the middle of the post-production. So, let's see (how the post-production work progresses)."

Elaborating on why it's such a relief the shoot for the third season of Inside Edge is done and dusted, Tarun But, the good news is that we're done shooting because there are a lot of projects that my friends and other peers on the industry are working on, even projects that I'm working on right now, and when they get stuck in the middle, then there's a lot of uncertainty. We just don't know how things are going to be, right, here onward? Maybe, life will change; maybe, we'll have to make certain adjustments; we just don't know what will happen."

Well, that was certainly a surprising albeit welcome treat from Tanuj Virwani. At least some good news among the doom and gloom all around us while we're under quarantine.
