Kiston song from Roohi: Jubin Nautiyal brings an old-school charm to Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's second track from the horror-comedy

What works best in the Kiston song's favour are Sachin-Jigar's old-school music, matched by Jubin Nautiyal velveteen vocals and Amitabh Bhattacharya's quirky lyrics, and headlined by Rajkummar Rao's Kishore-Kumar-esque charm (yes, we're not kidding)

After the drab Panghat song, questions were being raised if the makers of Roohi were about to undo all the goodwill that the trailer had generate. Thankfully, Panghat seems to be an aberration as the next song of Roohi that has just been dropped, Kiston, not only regenerates most of that goodwill, but also gives us a melodious, original, Bollywood romantic number to hum after ages. What works best in the Kiston song's favour are Sachin-Jigar's old-school music, matched by Jubin Nautiyal velveteen vocals and Amitabh Bhattacharya's quirky lyrics, and headlined by Rajkummar Rao's Kishore-Kumar-esque charm (yes, we're not kidding). That being said, Janhvi Kapoor finds it difficult to match Rajkummar Rao's vibe. However, Varun Sharma's appearance at the end of the song adds a nice touch to it. Watch the video above...

BL Verdict: The Kiston song from Roohi will make you hum it for days to come.
