Saina trailer: The Saina Nehwal biopic looks interesting, but the verdict is still out on Parineeti Chopra's performance

It looks like the teaser of Saina didn't do justice at all to the Saina Nehwal biopic as the trailer that has just dropped does a complete U-turn. If the Saina teaser received a lot of negativity across social media, then the Saina trailer is bound to do the opposite as it promises an aw-inspiring story of an absorbing real-life tale of grit and gumption — basically what a biopic should be about. That being said, the verdict is still out on the performance of Priyanka Chopra's younger cousin, Parineeti Chopra, in the role of Saina Nehwal, so fingers crossed that she comes good in the actual movie just as the trailer is a marked improvement on the teaser. Directed by Amole Gupte, the writer of Taare Zameen Par, and produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Saina also stars Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal.
