Ever since 2008's blockbuster Taken forever changed the trajectory of Liam Neeson — who, until then was always respected as a dramatic actor, but never a huge star — filmmakers have been casting him as a savior of someone or another in all his action vehicles, be it for his family or rank strangers on planes and trains. In his latest movie, The Marksman, the teaser of which we've got our hands on, Liam Neeson plays a 60-year old rancher in a western setting, who takes on the Mexican drug cartel to save the life of an 11-year old boy who lost his mother. BL Verdict: Fans of Liam Neeson, keep your fingers crossed, that The Marksman is one of his better formulaic action movies, especially given the new western setting the makers have opted for.
