Ahaan Panday’s journey in Bollywood has quickly turned into one of the industry’s most exciting success stories. After the massive success of Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, the young actor is now gearing up for a bold new move, an action-romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. Ali and Aditya have a strong track record together, with hits like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. Their new collaboration with Ahaan is already generating buzz.
According to a source quoted by Mid-Day, Ahaan is “moving full-throttle into his second film.” Ali Abbas Zafar will travel to the UK in December for a month-long location recce. Filming is expected to begin in February 2026. The insider added that Ahaan’s debut Saiyaara earned over ₹550 crore worldwide, giving the team confidence to scale up the new project. Around 80–90% of the film will be shot across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds.
Meanwhile, Ahaan is preparing intensely for his new role. “His debut showed him as a charming romantic hero. This time, Aditya Chopra wants to position him as an action-romance star,” the source said. Ahaan has already started hand-to-hand combat and weapon training for the physically demanding character.
The film is still untitled, but reports suggest that Sharvari will star opposite Ahaan. A source earlier told Pinkvilla that Ali Abbas Zafar was impressed by Ahaan’s emotional and dramatic range in Saiyaara, saying he wanted to return to the drama-filled style he’s known for.

Ahaan also recently revealed his new look for the film — tougher, sharper, and far more rugged than the soft, romantic persona audiences loved in Saiyaara. Fans are already excited to see this transformation on the big screen.
