Bollywood's Shehenshah recently reminisced about his first visit to an expensive restaurant on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17. The veteran actor recalled taking his parents out to the restaurant and feeling nervous when it was happening; he recalled how he still remembers that memory. He shared how it was his first time in an upscale place like Moti Mahal in Delhi, and it was after he completed college. He shared fondly about the nervousness and joy he felt in that moment and that it is one of his most cherished experiences to this day.

On a recent episode, when contestant Vijay talked about making his parents proud, Big B also shared his memory of one such incident very fondly. "Ye joh shaksh aap ke saamne baitha hai, uska bhi aisa hi ek din tha jab usne pehli baar restaurant mein khana khaya tha. Moti Mahal ek bahot badhiya restaurant hai Delhi ka, aur main apni zindagi mein pehli baar wahan gaya. Aur woh bhi kab college sab paar kar chuke the. Aur mata pita ke saath gaye the, woh avsar main abhi tak nahi bhoola, hum jis tarah aap nahi bhule hain."
He laughed and continued, "Thodi si kamayi ho gayi thi, toh le gaya unko wahan. Bada darr laga tha, ye bada restaurant hai, yahan bade log jaate hain, hum log nahi ja paayenge. Agar jaayenge toh log kaise humko dekhenge, kya hoga, kapde humare kaise honge? Kaun kya kahega, ye sab mann mein chalta hai, toh hum aapki aavastha ko samajh sakte hain."
