The series will showcase the whole Kapoor family, comprising Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, and Navya Naveli Nanda.
What is the reason for Alia Bhatt's absence from Dining with the Kapoors?
Nonetheless, following the trailer's release, Alia Bhatt started getting a buzz. Fans were curious about why Alia Bhatt was absent from the series. In a discussion with Bollywood Hungama, Armaan Jain clarified the reason why Alia Bhatt was not included. Armaan mentioned, "Alia Bhatt was busy shooting something else. I might sound a little filmy, but Raj Kapoor used to say that work is worship."
Director Smriti Mundhra discussed Armaan's emotions and commended the Kapoor family's commitment to their craft. She remarked, "That's the special quality of this family. Everyone is passionate about work and loves their work. There's always this sense that everyone tries to be together as much as possible and prioritizes. There are always one or two people who can't come because of work." Armaan then remarked, "This happens at every function, Christmas get-togethers, Diwali get-togethers."
Dining with the Kapoors will be available for streaming on Netflix beginning November 21st. The series will highlight the heritage of Raj Kapoor. In the trailer, all the characters are seen gathered around a dining table, sharing a meal and having a good time.
