Veteran actor Dharmendra has been undergoing medical treatment at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for the past few days. According to reports, the actor was recently shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The hospital authorities had reportedly been restricting visitors to make sure the actor’s privacy remains intact and he continues to recover. As reported by various outlets, Dharmendra’s health deteriorated this morning, which prompted all his family members to rush to the hospital. Since then, he has been put on a ventilator and continues to get close medical attention. Even though reports have suggested that the actor is responding to treatment, no official statement has yet been released yet. Neither his family nor the hospital have reacted to his current condition.

All about Dharmendra’s health condition

According to reports, Dharmendra's health had been deteriorating for some time. However, about 10 days ago, his team stated that he was admitted for a routine checkup and there was nothing to worry about. A few days ago, when photographers asked his wife, Hema Malini, about his health, she hinted at his recovery and assured that Dharmendra was doing better.

This is not the first time Dharmendra has been hospitalised. Due to his age, Dharmendra frequently undergoes health checkups. He even traveled to the United States for treatment some time ago. Dharmendra is always observant about his fitness and takes care of himself as per his doctors' advice.

Dharmendra is one of the most popular actors in Hindi cinema. Often referred to as ‘He-Man’ and has delivered many memorable films filled with action, romance, and comedy in his career. His best-known films include Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Pratigya, Apne, and Yamla Pagla Deewana. He recently appeared in Karan Johar's film Rocky Rani Ki Prem Kahani. His upcoming film, Ekkis Saal, will be released in 2025. Fans are hoping that he recovers soon and returns to the big screen.
