Amazon MX Player’s upcoming reality show Rise & Fall continues to make headlines. This time around, it is for the drama it started even before the shoot kicked off. While rumours suggest that Dhanashree Verma may have been finalised for the show. But amid the mystery around the final list of contestants widens, a new twist has left everyone shocked. If reports are to be believed, host Ashneer Grover wasn't just roped in to be the anchor of the show, but he has also been given the responsibility to take care of casting as well.
The source further revealed how Ashneer has personally deleted five names from the original shortlist, and referred to them as ‘too boring’ or ‘not sharp' enough for the game. Rise & Fall will begin to stream exclusively on Amazon MX Player.
“He wasn’t here for safe choices,” the source reportedly claimed. According to reports, he also kept pushing for contestants who had an edge, could think strategically, and shake things up. If there is any truth in these rumours, Rise & Fall will also include Ashneer’s approval on every single contestant that is roped in for the game. With this change, Ashneer can bring in more fireworks.
