Dharmendra, a veteran Bollywood actor, has worked in the industry for over six decades, beginning with his debut in the 1960s. The actor, well known for his roles in Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke, will turn 90 in December.
On Monday, Dharmendra had visits from his son Sunny Deol, wife Hema Malini, and other relatives. On Monday night, Shah Rukh and Aryan's vehicles were seen in the hospital, and several photographers recorded their visit. Earlier in the evening, the legendary actor had a visit from Salman Khan, who was near to him. Late on Monday night, Govinda was also seen arriving to the hospital.
Dharmendra made his Hindi cinema debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960, after winning a talent contest organised by Filmfare magazine the previous year. The son of a housewife and a school principal, Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol was born on December 8, 1935, in Nasrali, a village in the Ludhiana region of Punjab, British India.
In 1954, Dharmendra married to Prakash Kaur. He never divorced his first wife, although he subsequently wed actress Hema Malini in the early 1980s.
