Fashion influencer Komal Panday has strongly criticised Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal for repeatedly body-shaming actress Ashnoor Kaur. Komal called Tanya “vile” and accused her of being the 'definition of anti-feminism.' The controversy began after a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, where Tanya, along with co-contestants Kunickaa Sadanand and Neelam Giri, made fun of Ashnoor’s weight gain. During one exchange, Tanya even compared Ashnoor to her mother, and in a later episode, she went as far as calling her a 'hathi'.

On Friday (October 31), Komal took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of Tanya and express her disgust. She wrote, “This vile woman has body-shamed another female contestant multiple times, and I genuinely cannot stomach her anymore. Tanya, you’re the ultimate pick-me, it’s beyond repulsive now.”
In another post, Komal added, “You’ve somehow become the TRP magnet for all the wrong reasons, fake to the core, desperate for attention, and now stooping to body-shaming a graceful, talented, and dignified woman. You might win the show, but you’ll never win hearts. You are the definition of anti-feminism.”
Fans and Celebrities React
The incident drew backlash not only from fans but also from several TV personalities. Jannat Zubair, Rohan Mehra, and influencer Awez Darbar spoke out against Tanya, Neelam, and Kunickaa’s behaviour, calling it unacceptable.
Meanwhile, Ashnoor, best known for her roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Patiala Babes is reportedly unaware of the remarks made about her. Fans have since demanded that Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan address the issue during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode and take action against the trio.
