Famous bollywood actor Satish Shah, who's known for making everyone laugh with his brilliant comic timing, from Indravadan Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai to the classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, once shared a deeply emotional story with everyone from his personal life. Despite of being loved for his humor, there were some moments in his life when laughter and humor were the last thing on his mind. In one interview, Satish revealed an incident that left him shocked and angry. He said, “The biggest problem in India is that people can’t differentiate between a person and an actor. They think we should always be funny, no matter how serious the situation.”

He then recalled a painful memory: “My wife was seriously ill and fighting for her life on the operating table. We had been married for just three months. I was sitting outside the hospital, worried and tense, when a man came up to me and said, ‘You’re looking too serious. Crack a joke!’”

Satish admitted that the comment enraged him. “At that moment, I felt like punching him. But I controlled myself and walked away. That’s the burden we carry as actors, people forget we’re human too.”
