The trailer Abhishek Bachchan's highly-anticipated The Big Bull was recently released and we saw fans praising the actor for his portrayal of a stockbroker. Though we saw audience comparing it with Pratik Gandhi's Scam 1992 as both the projects are based on the life Harshad Mehta. While we are excited to see The Big Bull, the lead actor finally opened up on the big comparison and told Mid-Day, “All my life, I have been compared to the best in the business. It doesn’t frazzle me.”

He added, “Comparisons are fine and as long as we are compared to good stuff, it’s fine. But in terms of design and intention, episodic series and movies are different disciplines to write for. In a web series, the liberty of time is there and thus it will have depth and detail. The flip side is it can’t be boring. In cinema, you have to crack it up and make the story pacey. The two shouldn’t be comparable. The Big Bull is a movie that has scale that’s undergone a different process. Comparisons are inevitable and I am proud of what we’ve made. We have done the best and the audience has it in their hands to decide its fate."
We can definitely say that Abhishek Bachchan gave a valid point about the comparison but it will be interesting to see whether he will be able to create the same magic like Pratik Gandhi among the audience or not. Directed by Kookie V Gulati, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit. It also features Ileana D'Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Soham Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles. It will stream on Disney + Hotstar from April 8.
