With the better part of the first half of 2020 being spent under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, it's been web series that have proven to be our saviour while stuck at home. And with unlock 1.0 not proving to be the success story it's meant to be, we suspect that the trend is going to continue for some more time. However, with the surplus of web series out there. we wouldn't want to waste our time sifting through the copious not-so-watchable one, regardless our homebound predicament or not. would we? In such a scenario the trailers of these shows give a pretty fair idea of what to add to our watchlist or not. On that note, here are what we feel are the best web series trailer in the first half of 2020, and it's your job to vote for the best one as part of our #BLBestOf6 event. Paatal Lok

Paatal Lok created tremendous buzz even before it was acclaimed as one of the best Indian shows ever, web or otherwise, upon release, and major credit for that goes to its trailer. Asur

Asur picked up greatly after premiering, but that's mainly because it was streamed on a new OTT platform, which hadn't marketed it so well. Whoever had tuned in though from the get go, did so because of its trailer. Special Ops

A crackerjack trailer that did complete justice to a crackerjack show — in true Neeraj Pandey fashion — creating the desired buzz it demanded.

Aarya

Sushmita Sen was returning to the screen five years after her last film and ten years after her last Bollywood movie, and the trailer of Aarya did all that was expected from it in rolling out the red carpet both for her comeback and a pretty good show to boot.

Hasmukh

The reviews of Hasmukh may have been mixed, but the trailer did its job in grabbing eyeballs and getting a good number of people to watch the show over its first couple of days.

Narcos: Mexico (season 2)

One of the most prestigious web series got a trailer befitting its stature and global reach.
