Set against a political web, the film brilliantly captured the lies, deceit, uncertainty, ruthlessness and betrayals and shifting alliance of a political dynasty with their fickle fickle friends and staunch foes. Beside, it had starred an amazing ensemble case, including Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, and Nana Patekar among others, not to mentioned being one of the year's biggest blockbusters, netting Rs. 92. 28 crore nett ten years ago. Given that Director Prakash Jha already made a sequel to one of his other classics, Gangaajal, we were curious to know if the thought of one had crossed his mind for Raajneeti. and got the perfect opportunity to quiz him on it in a recent exclusive interview. The good news is that Prakash Jha has exclusively revealed to us that a Raajneeti 2 is at the back of his mind and, in fact, the script has already been penned. “It (the thought of a sequel to Raajneeti) has crossed my mind. We have worked on it and the script and the structure is already ready.
