British actor Regé-Jean Page became every woman’s (and we are sure some men’s too) fantasy with his sexy demeanor and outstanding performance as the Duke of Hastings in Netflix web-series Bridgerton. The elation reached another level when the OTT platform announced that the web series is set to renew for a second season. Following this amazing news, we heard that the crew is back on the set and Bridgerton 2 may be coming to us sooner than we may imagine. However, the biggest dampener was when Netflix announced via a letter from Lady Whistledown that Simon, the Duke of Hastings, would not return in the Bridgerton season 2. It stated: "We will miss Simon's presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family." The news has left all Bridgerton and Regé-Jean Page’s fans devasted. Interestingly, just like all of us, Shahid Kapoor’s dear wifey Mira Kapoor is a fan of Bridgerton and Regé-Jean Page as well. The star wife recently reacted to the news of Page’s exit from the show and it is what all of us have been feeling.
