As per reports all platforms want creators to be extremely cautious and avoid depicting (social and political) realities. However, Manoj Bajpayee has rubbished the news and has confirmed that The Family Man 2 is very much on track. In his tweet, he said, "Absolute nonsense !!! Quite amazed that there is not even a single name appeared to authenticate this article or news whatever you call it. BS BS BS !!!! arey bhai director se hi baat kar lo ya OTT se. bas kisi tarah ek शगूफा छोड़ना है." A source from the show also based the rumours of The Family Man 2 getting shelved and told Bollywood Hungama, “What Raj and DK tweeted is right. There’s no way the season is getting cancelled. We were quite shocked when this report came in. There’s no truth to it at all.” The source added, “Nothing in the show is getting reshot. Raj and DK have already moved on to their next web series, starring Shahid Kapoor. And no, Amazon Prime is not even censoring anything. Talking about the cast and characters of The Family Man 2, we will see Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, Priyamani as Suchitra Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi as JK Talpade, Shreya Dhanwanthary as Zoya, Sharad Kelkar as Arvind, Darshan Kumaar as Major Sameer, Dalip Tahil as Kulkarni, Shahab Ali as Sajid, Samantha Akkineni and others. There are also reports of Jaideep Ahlawat and Abhishek Banerjee's Paatal Lok not returning for a second season ofor the same new regulations for OTT. However, there was no word from the makers in this regards till the time for filing this article.
